Production Supervisor – Off Shift

We are supporting a client in the automotive manufacturing industry that is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor for an off shift opportunity in Marysville, MI. This position is responsible for leading production teams, driving operational performance, and maintaining a safe and productive manufacturing environment. 
Responsibilities
  • Lead and supervise production teams in a manufacturing environment
  • Manage daily production activities, staffing, scheduling, and floor support
  • Promote safety, quality, productivity, and employee engagement
  • Coach and develop employees while supporting performance management activities
  • Support lean manufacturing initiatives, standard work, and continuous improvement efforts
  • Conduct problem solving and root cause analysis using tools such as 5 Why, 8D, and A3
  • Coordinate with maintenance and operations teams to support equipment uptime and efficiency
  • Monitor departmental metrics and drive operational performance improvements
  • Maintain compliance with company policies and collective bargaining agreements where applicable
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience in manufacturing
  • Strong employee relations and team leadership experience
  • Experience with production scheduling, quality, safety, and KPI management
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Strong communication, problem solving, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced manufacturing environment
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future
