Production Supervisor
The Production Supervisor will have a general responsibility to maintain efficient, high-quality production, including employee supervision, material coordination, proper reporting, safety and wellness, etc.
Responsibilities:
* Oversee daily production schedules for coaters, slitters, and latex batching; assign operators, ensure adequate materials, and maintain quality, productivity, and waste standards
* Review production data, reporting, downtime, and timecards for accuracy while maintaining inventory of production and packaging supplies and coordinating maintenance work orders
* Supervise and support direct reports by providing training, enforcing safety and housekeeping standards, meeting union requirements, and ensuring smooth shift transitions
* Support continuous improvement initiatives related to productivity, quality, waste, and corrective actions, while assisting with audits, projects, sample shipments, and other plant operations
Required Skills & Experience:
* 7+ years of experience working in a heavy manufacturing or industrial environment, in a related Supervisor, Lead, or related Operations position
* High School diploma or GED
* Must be able to work Monday to Friday from 10am to 6pm or 11am to 7pm, with flexibility to work weekends
* Strong management skills and able to handle direct and indirect reports
Preferred Skills & Experience:
* Associate's or Bachelor's degree is preferred
