Production Supervisor

Location: Mt. Pleasant, IA
Shift: 5:30PM-5:30AM - 12hrs
Schedule: 3 days on/4 days off (rotating schedule)
Starting Pay: $26/hr
We are seeking a Production Supervisor to lead and support our production team, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity goals are met. This role involves training and coaching employees, monitoring performance metrics, optimizing staffing, and fostering a positive work environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, a strong communicator, and experienced in driving continuous improvement and efficient production processes.
Duties/Responsibilities:- Lead and support production employees to achieve KPIs in safety, quality, productivity, and cost
- Provide training, coaching, and development to promote continuous learning
- Analyze staffing needs to optimize efficiency and meet production schedules
- Oversee performance metrics, support quality audits, and coordinate corrective actions
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and production processes
- Facilitate communication across departments and shifts for smooth workflow
- Assist with decisions on machine utilization, maintenance, and repairs
