Production Supervisor

The Panther Group is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor for a contract-to-hire opportunity with a leading precision manufacturing company in Nashua, NH.

This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for overseeing daily production operations, supporting manufacturing processes, and ensuring production schedules, quality standards, and customer commitments are consistently achieved. The ideal candidate is a strong manufacturing leader who enjoys mentoring employees, troubleshooting production challenges, and driving continuous improvement in a fast-paced, quality-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and supervise Production Team Leaders and Laser Operators.
• Plan and execute daily production schedules to meet customer delivery commitments.
• Allocate personnel and resources to maximize productivity while minimizing downtime.
• Monitor production performance, quality, and efficiency, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions when needed.
• Provide hands-on technical support and troubleshoot manufacturing processes.
• Conduct new hire orientation, safety training, and ongoing employee development.
• Promote a safe work environment and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Review production records, maintain inventory of production supplies, and support product shipment activities.
• Manage employee time records, performance evaluations, coaching, and disciplinary matters in partnership with Human Resources.
• Partner with the Quality team to support continuous improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with ISO and FDA standards.
• Foster strong communication and collaboration across departments and shifts.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years of manufacturing experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
• Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel).
• Ability to work independently while leading a production team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate's degree.
• 5+ years of technical manufacturing experience.
• 5+ years of progressive supervisory experience.
• Experience working in an ISO and/or FDA-regulated manufacturing environment.

Pay rate up to $32.69 per hour Depending on experience
