Production Supervisor

Our client is adding a 3^rd Shift Production Supervisor to their ranks because of growth. This is an excellent, growing company and they need someone with a leadership mindset. They produce metal parts primarily for the aerospace and defense industries. This company “is setting the standard for excellence and innovation in the foundry sector!" You will report to the Production Superintendent.

This is an 8-hour shift, and they have flexible start times from 7 PM to 10 PM.

Due to the military work the company does you, must be a US Citizen

What you will be doing:

• Supervisor13 in several different groups. Within the year this could grow to 22 people.
• Hold staff accountable, serve as the transmitter of information from management to your team, and maintain needed records
• Develop employees, and help drive performance in safety, quality, productivity, and continuous improvement
• Assist in production areas as needed
• Partner with quality, engineering, maintenance, and operations to improve results
• Support timekeeping, scheduling, inventory, and department communication

What they are looking for:

• A front-line leader who knows how to build trust, set clear expectations, solve problems, and keep production moving in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• 3+ years of prior Supervision experience
• Some prior metal industry experience such as manufacturing, foundry, machining, finishing or similar
• Flexible on academics after high school but a have a desire to learn new things
