Production Supervisor - Overnight Shift

Job Title: Production Supervisor
Location: Cranbury, NJ (Onsite)
Type: Direct Hire
Compensation: $27.00 per hour
Hours: Mon to Thursday 6 PM to 6 AM (OT Available)
Bilingual - English and Spanish Required
Food Industry Experience Required

Responsibilities

• Oversee shift day-to-day activities to meet production goals and provide leadership within the shift.
• Assign specific tasks to production personnel and ensure adherence to standard operating procedures.
• Identify and troubleshoot problems in production areas, providing solutions where applicable.
• Ensure all room supervisors properly complete necessary forms during production and assist in their completion when needed.
• Monitor and verify work performed by room supervisors for safety, accuracy, and timely execution.
• Maintain compliance with GMP, OSHA, and HACCP plans among plant employees.
• Ensure that room operators keep their areas safe, organized, and efficient.
• Coordinate with room supervisors on work progress, deadlines, inventory status, and resolving production issues.
• Promote open communication among room supervisors and equipment operators regarding concerns.

• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of production and/or manufacturing experience.
• Food manufacturing experience preferred
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory or leadership experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, with ability to learn ERP systems quickly.
• Computer skills including typing and experience with Excel.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English and Spanish
• Physical ability to occasionally lift/move up to 50 pounds, walk, stand, climb, stoop, kneel, or reach above shoulders as required.
