Production Shift SupervisorSalary: $65,000–$85,000Shift: 2nd Shift (2:30 PM – 10:30 PM) or 3rd Shift (10:30 PM – 6:30 AM)Note: Candidates hired for 3rd shift will complete training on 2nd shift before transitioning to 3rd.Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Production Shift Supervisor to lead manufacturing operations in a fast-paced metal fabrication environment. This role is responsible for supervising production employees, driving safety and quality initiatives, improving productivity, and ensuring production goals are achieved. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong communication skills and a proven ability to motivate teams while maintaining operational excellence.Key ResponsibilitiesLead, coach, and develop a team of approximately 20–30 production and support employees.Establish daily, weekly, and monthly production objectives and communicate expectations to the team.Coordinate workflow, assign responsibilities, and develop efficient production schedules.Monitor production output to ensure products meet quality and customer specifications.Identify production bottlenecks and implement process improvements to increase efficiency.Promote and enforce workplace safety policies and manufacturing best practices.Prepare production reports and communicate performance metrics to management.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production issues and support continuous improvement initiatives.QualificationsPrevious experience as a Production Supervisor or in a manufacturing leadership role.Experience working with manufacturing equipment, machinery, and production processes.Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency with Microsoft Office.Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset.Preferred BackgroundExperience in metal fabrication, steel manufacturing, welded assemblies, or similar industrial manufacturing environments.High school diploma with relevant supervisory experience required.Technical, engineering, or manufacturing-related education is a plus.What You'll BringStrong leadership and team development abilities.A commitment to workplace safety and quality.The ability to troubleshoot production issues and drive operational improvements.A hands-on management style with a focus on accountability, productivity, and continuous improvement.
