With a commitment to innovation, efficiency, and excellence, we have established ourselves as a trusted name in the industry. We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to join our team.

The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily manufacturing operations to ensure production goals, quality standards and safety requirements are met. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Supervise production and maintenance employees on all lines and support personnel
  2. Monitor and adjust production lines as needed for absenteeism or machinery issues
  3. Track and record paperwork associated with the manufacturing process and monitor status of work orders
  4. Supervise the work of Union employees daily and some scheduling activities
  5. Train, coach and discipline production line employees to help them meet expectations and succeed in their job
  6. Communicate with other production supervisors and plant manager regarding shift changes, staffing needs and machinery issues
  7. Conduct employee performance reviews
  8. Ensure all plant activities are conducted in accordance with all health, safety and environmental rules and company standards, including (but not limited to): OSHA, Quality Control, and PPE procedures
  9. Monitor and maintain quality control
  10. Offer suggestions for process flow improvement
  11. Monitor and communicate production inefficiencies and equipment issues to plant manager

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Ability to work any shift
  • Associate's Degree or a combination of education (minimum of High School) plus 3 years of manufacturing experience
  • Experience working in a Union environment preferred
  • MRP experience preferred, but not required
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Solid leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Strong mechanical reasoning skills
