Production Supervisor Soft goods

Hours: Monday- Friday 7:00am- 3:30pm
Salary Range: $65,000- $68,000
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Soft Goods Production Supervisor to lead our sewing and fabrication team. In this role, you will oversee daily production operations, support and train employees, maintain quality standards, and help ensure production goals are met safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise production employees, including stitchers, cutters, sewing machine mechanics, and fabricators.
Train and mentor new team members.
Manage daily production schedules and staffing needs.
Monitor productivity, quality, and workflow performance.
Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate repairs when needed.
Order and maintain production supplies and parts.
Assist with purchasing and evaluating new equipment.
Maintain inventory of materials used on the production floor.
Prepare monthly quality and production reports.
Ensure a safe and organized work environment.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Leadership Responsibilities
Recruit, interview, and onboard new employees with HR support.
Conduct performance reviews and recommend compensation increases.
Approve employee timecards.
Maintain training records and employee development plans.
Support departmental safety programs and emergency procedures.
Provide coaching, guidance, and performance management for team members.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree preferred.
10+ years of manufacturing experience.
Experience in sewing, textiles, soft goods, or related manufacturing environments.
Prior supervisory or leadership experience.
Specialized training or certifications related to manufacturing are a plus.
Skills & Abilities
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to read, write, and speak English.
Strong attention to detail.
Comfortable working with measurements, including fractions and dimensions.
