Our Client, an Automotive company, is looking for a Production Supervisor for their Spring Hill, TN location.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Recommend measures to motivate employees and to improve production methods, equipment performance, product quality, or efficiency.
  • Review operations and confer with technical or administrative staff to resolve production or processing problems.
  • Develop and implement production tracking and quality control systems, analyzing production, quality control, and maintenance to detect production problems.
  • Hire, train, evaluate, and discharge staff, and resolve personal grievances.
  • Prepare and maintain production reports and personnel records.
  • The GL will be supporting and managing General Assembly
  • Manage 20-50 hourly UAW TM's.
  • Responsible for Safety, People, Quality, Responsiveness, and Cost KPI's
 
Requirements:
  • Verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage one’s time.
  • Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
  • Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair and maintenance.
  • Knowledge of design techniques, tools and principles involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings and models.
  • Candidate Requirements
  • Highest Completed Education Required: High School Diploma.
  • Further education is preferred not required
  • Min Years of Experience Required:
  • At least 2 years of production experience is required.
  • If you have Supervisory experience, this will give the candidate a leg up.
  • Managers are open to train the right candidate if they do not have supervisory experience.
  • Top 3 Skills:
  • Ability to effectively communicate verbal and written
  • Comfortable using Microsoft and Excel
  • Supervisory Experience is ideal, not required. Will give the person a leg up
