CNC Production Supervisor (2nd Shift) - Strongsville, OH - JOB 26-00382

Salary Range: $70,000 - $80,000 Full-Time Permanent Position with Benefits

2nd Shift starts at 6:00pm 40 - 50 hour work weeks

A leading manufacturing firm in Strongsville, Ohio to find an experienced, hands-on 2nd Shift CNC Production Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities
  • Directly manage employee assignments, optimize personnel placement across departments, and foster a productive, safe shift culture.
  • Oversee all machinery operation and product output to ensure daily manufacturing targets and quality benchmarks are hit.
  • Apply strong mechanical aptitude to diagnose machinery issues with operators; step in to run equipment or assist with setups when necessary to minimize downtime.
  • Consistently enforce employee handbook policies and maintain high safety standards.
  • Report daily maintenance issues to the Plant Manager and take responsibility for securing the facility (locking up and arming the alarm system) at shift conclusion.
  • Safely operate a tow motor/forklift to transport parts and materials across the floor as required.

Qualifications & Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in light industry, manufacturing, or the machine tool industry (7+ years highly preferred).
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Proven mechanical capability with the ability to troubleshoot CNC machinery. Tow motor/forklift operation experience is required.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to lead, motivate, and direct a diverse production team.
  • Strong decision-making skills under pressure, with the ability to multitask and determine when internal vs. external maintenance solutions are required.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret company safety, operational, and production documents.
