We are seeking an experienced 3rd shift Production Supervisor at our high-volume manufacturing plant in Summerdale, Alabama. Shift is from 10:30pm to 7am, Monday through Friday.
Responsibilities include:
Supervise production employees, assign daily tasks, and track attendance
Monitor production schedule and input daily production numbers
Enforce safety and quality procedures
Conduct safety training
Resolve equipment issues - Report unresolved issues to the plant manager and maintenance team
Ensure machinery is running efficiently
Communicate regularly with Plant Manager regarding issues or suggestions for improvements
Qualifications and Requirements:
High school diploma required
2 to 5 years working in a manufacturing setting, with at least 1 year in a leadership or team-lead role
Forklift certified
Strong attention to detail
Strong communication skills
Above average problem-solving skills and a strong desire to learn
Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Teams, Outlook, and Word
Ability to lead a team and inspire
