Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bilingual Required: Must be fully fluent in reading, writing, and speaking both English and Spanish.
- Experience: 5–7 years of hands-on experience in food manufacturing or packaging operations.
- Food Safety Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of FDA, GMP, SQF, and HACCP regulations.
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent required; a Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field is preferred.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability in resource allocation, critical thinking, conflict resolution, and motivating a diverse team.
- Technical & Soft Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Outlook) and strong basic math skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to stay calm and effective in high-stress situations.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Direct and coordinate the daily activities of production and packaging employees. Establish work schedules, assignments, and production sequences to meet daily goals.
- Operational Excellence: Review daily reports, sales orders, and performance data to measure productivity, identify bottlenecks, and implement efficiency improvements.
- Food Safety & Compliance: Oversee adherence to FDA, HACCP, GMP, and SQF standards. Enforce safety and sanitation regulations and support external audits.
- Quality Control: Inspect materials, products, and equipment to detect defects or malfunctions.
- Monitor production gauges and dials to ensure operators conform to high-quality standards.
- Training & Development: Conduct employee training on equipment operations, safety procedures, and company policies. Manage employee relations and collaborate with the Plant Manager on resolutions.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a liaison between departments (including Sales and Senior Leadership) to ensure smooth operations and high customer satisfaction.

PrideStaff is seeking an experienced, bilingual Production Supervisor for a premier food manufacturing client in East Mesa. This critical role is responsible for directly supervising, coordinating, and optimizing the activities of the afternoon/evening shift. You will oversee the manufacturing and packaging teams, ensuring operations run efficiently, safely, and in full compliance with food safety regulations.
