Job Description
Responsible for leading production teams in a fast-paced, high-volume, unionized automotive manufacturing environment. Ensure safety, quality, productivity, and delivery targets are met while managing manpower, training employees, and driving continuous improvement initiatives (WCM/SIS/Lean). Coordinate daily production activities, monitor KPIs, resolve production issues, and maintain strong communication with cross-functional teams.
Requirements:
- Automotive manufacturing experience (required)
- High school diploma or GED (Bachelor's preferred)
- 2+ years of supervisory experience preferred
- Union and Lean/WCM experience preferred
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word)
- Must be able to work 1st & 2nd shifts, overtime, and weekends as needed.
Requirements
· High school diploma or GED· Ability to work ANY shift and overtime as required· Excellent organization, written and oral communication skills·Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interface with various levels of employees within all areas of the Plant from hourly represented employees to Senior Leadership as required· Ability to build effective business relationships with plant leadership and customers· Must have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office· Must have worked in an Automotive environment previouslyPreferred Qualifications:· Bachelor’s degree in a technical field· 2 or more years' experience in supervision in a high-volume environment· Demonstrated ability to coach/mentor/develop team members· Experience in continuous improvement systems and lean manufacturingProficiency Using Microsoft tools (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
