This position works out of our Sturgis, MI location in the Abbott Nutrition division. Our Nutrition business develops science-based nutrition products for people of all ages, from helping babies and children grow to keeping adult bodies strong and active. What You’ll Do


+ Coordinating production team activities to deliver performance for the shift/line

+ Developing team members through training programs and timely coaching and feedback

+ Modeling and promoting behaviors to drive a culture of safety and quality compliance

+ Driving operational efficiencies and understanding performance based on key metrics

+ Promoting a continuous improvement culture using problem-solving skills

+ Managing expenses, including labor and overtime costs

+ Modeling and promoting accountability to our compliance standards including FDA, OSHA and Abbott policies and procedures

+ Ability to communicate with cross functional teams

+ Ability to lead tier meetings

+ Ability to provide daily production updates

+ Managing up to 30 direct reports


You’ll be accountable for meeting our compliance standards including FDA, OSHA and Abbott policies and procedures.


Required Qualifications


+ High School Diploma/GED and a minimum of 3 years of professional experience involving people leadership, operational execution, or quality/safety oversight in manufacturing, production, logistics, or comparable structured environment

+ Strong verbal and written communication skills


Preferred Qualifications


+ Bachelors degree in Business, Science, Food Science, Engineering or a related field1+ year leadership experience
