Production Supervisor

Salary: $70,000.00 USD Annually - $80,000.00 USD Annually

Overview

The Production Supervisor oversees daily operations on the manufacturing floor to ensure safe, efficient, and high‑quality production. This role leads a team of production employees, maintains compliance with food safety standards, and supports continuous improvement across the facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct and monitor production activities to meet output, quality, and efficiency goals.
• Ensure equipment is set up, operated, and shut down according to established procedures.
• Maintain accurate production records and shift documentation.
• Enforce GMPs, HACCP, and other food safety and regulatory requirements.
• Partner with Quality Assurance to address deviations and support audits.
• Train, coach, and evaluate production employees; manage schedules and performance.
• Promote a safe work environment and ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety policies.
• Identify and support process improvements to reduce waste and improve throughput.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of manufacturing experience, preferably in food or beverage production.
• Prior supervisory or team‑lead experience.
• Knowledge of GMPs, HACCP, and food safety regulations.
• Strong communication, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Experience with production reporting systems and basic computer applications.

Preferred

• Experience with Lean or continuous improvement practices.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish).
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field
