Production Supervisor - Food Manufacturing

Job Duties & Responsibilities
-Lead, coach, mentor, and supervise hourly Production employees, including assigning work, monitoring performance, conducting training, and supporting employee development.
-Manage daily production flow by scheduling personnel, establishing priorities, monitoring processes and equipment, resolving issues, and ensuring production plans are completed on schedule.
-Monitor production performance and KPIs, analyze operational data, identify improvement opportunities, and implement initiatives that improve quality, efficiency, and cost effectiveness.
-Promote a safe, clean, and compliant work environment while ensuring adherence to company policies, GMPs, sanitation standards, quality requirements, and plant safety procedures.
Required Skills & Experience
-Bachelor"s degree in Manufacturing, Supply Chain, or a related field with 2+ years of progressive supervisory experience in a food manufacturing environment; OR 10+ years of manufacturing experience in a supervisory/managerial capacity.
-Strong leadership, problem-solving, decision-making, communication, organizational, and conflict-management skills with the ability to build and manage effective teams.
-Experience with GMPs, HACCP, sanitation, process improvement, plant safety, quality assurance, production processes, and performance management.
-Proficiency with Microsoft Office and data entry, strong attention to detail and follow-through, and the ability to work assigned schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Skills & Experience
-Food or dairy manufacturing experience and strong mechanical aptitude.
-Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills.
Additional Responsibilities
-Serve as backup to the Director of Operations for key responsibilities as needed or during their absence.
-Report on key performance indicators and support achievement of operational targets.
Salary Range - 70k
