Introduction

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with server administration to complement card industry experience
  • Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), ITIL processes, change management, release management, and configuration management
  • Strong knowledge of the payment industry, including cards, ATM POS terminals, and transaction processing protocols such as ISO 8583
  • Proficiency in Python, Shell scripting, and database management systems like Oracle, SQL Server, and MySQL
  • Understanding of information systems elements (hardware, software, network) and their application to business functions/processes

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

  • Project management skills
  • Familiarity with UL, Pargon, and Astrex simulators, or other payment transaction simulators
  • Excellent communication and vendor management skills
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2
