The Production Support role ensures continuous, high-volume production line efficiency by feeding material to the line, operating equipment, and performing quality checks while adhering to safety (GMP/HACCP) standards. Responsibilities include packing, assembling, machine monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining sanitary conditions. Requires standing for long periods, lifting, and working in varied environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Line Operations - Feed, load, and monitor materials and packaging into production machinery to ensure continuous operation
- Quality and Safety Control - Inspect products for defects, ensure proper sealing and labeling, and adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and food safety standards
- Packaging and Assembly - Manually assemble, fill, seal, and pack finished goods for shipment
- Troubleshooting - Assist with line startups, shutdowns, and minor machinery troubleshooting or adjustments
- Housekeeping - Maintain clean, safe workstations and sanitation standards
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Experience with food manufacturing, packing, or assembly preferred
- Ability to read and follow recipes, instructions, or safety guidelines
- Ability to stand and walk for 10-12 hours, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in hot, cold, and noisy environments
- Willingness to work varied shifts, weekends, or overtime
