Introduction

This is a critical role in supporting the Front Office FICC Credit business, requiring a motivated and flexible individual to work in close collaboration with Application Developers, peer Support Leads, Application Managers, Offshore teams, and Infrastructure Support. This high-profile position operates in a high-intensity environment that demands the ability to display both Business and Technical acumen. The role requires the capacity to assimilate large amounts of information quickly, with a focus on Incident and Problem Management, while being highly adaptable to a changing trading environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong application support and problem diagnosis skills
  • Experience with Python, Javascript, Kafka, Mongo DB
  • Proficiency in Unix/Linux, SQL, shell scripting
  • Knowledge of Fixed Income Derivatives, Bonds, MTGE Loans
  • Experience with ITRS Geneos, Splunk, Ansible, Dynatrace

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

  • Familiarity with FIX Connectivity
  • Experience in developing support tooling and automation
  • Prior work experience at client or in client's Industry
  • Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Investigate issues, resolve problems, and communicate status
  • Manage user query mailbox effectively and ensure timely responses
  • Develop support tooling and automation using relevant technologies
  • Respond to and resolve feed support issues
  • Manage alerts and monitoring of critical trading system environments
  • Provide timely and accurate user notifications and management escalations
  • Documentation and knowledge management
  • Coordinate resolutions with various development teams
  • Assist with metrics reporting for Python-based systems and Java applications
  • Coordinate and perform Business Continuity testing
  • Organize and run meetings independently for issue resolution
  • Identify scope for automation to reduce manual, repeating tasks
