The Production Support Specialist prepares assembly kits, stages raw materials and supplies, and moves materials between warehouse and production areas using a pallet jack or forklift. This role maintains accurate labels and material records, updates material status in the ERP system, and collaborates with production, warehouse, and quality teams to keep work on schedule. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-conscious, and organized, with the ability to follow company safety and quality procedures, communicate effectively, support cross-training, and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Responsibilities
Follow standard procedures to preassemble and stage materials, keeping work flowing to and from the cable assembly tables.Follow company policies and procedures to maintain quality standards.Keep the work area clean and organized.Identify ways to improve the staging areas workflow.Communicate with team members and assist with cross-training.
Requirements
High school diploma or GED required; additional education or training is a plus.Ability to read, understand, and follow work instructions.Basic math skills.Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.Ability to safely operate material handling and packaging equipment.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.
Schedule & Compensation
Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PMStarting Rate: $18.00 per hour. Also, excellent opportunities for job advancement and pay increases through our wage progression program based on training completion, excellent attendance and tenure.
