Production Support Supervisor

Setting/Hours: 100% In-Office | First Shift 7-4

Join trak group in partnering with a growing client in Cincinnati, Ohio that’s expanding its Manufacturing team. 

Responsibilities
Supervision & Leadership:


  • Provides active, hands-on leadership to the Production Support team within a fast-paced operational environment.

  • Sets daily priorities, assigns work responsibilities, and oversees day-to-day team operations.

  • Trains, mentors, and supports employee development while identifying growth and skill-building opportunities.

  • Conducts performance evaluations and delivers ongoing coaching and feedback to team members.

  • Enforces company policies, safety procedures, and compliance standards to maintain a safe and productive workplace.

Production Support Operations:


  • Oversees labeling, container preparation, filling, packaging, and related production support activities.

  • Ensures materials and finished products meet customer specifications, quality expectations, and operational standards.

  • Reviews batch tickets and investigates or resolves discrepancies to maintain production accuracy and compliance.

  • Coordinates daily production activities to support schedules, efficiency goals, and output targets.

Quality, Compliance & Safety:


  • Ensures full compliance with GMP standards, company safety policies, and applicable regulatory requirements.

  • Monitors production processes to maintain quality, accuracy, and operational consistency.

  • Supports quality investigations, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives related to production and compliance.

Process Improvement & Coordination:


  • Identifies and resolves operational issues related to staffing, scheduling, product quality, and equipment performance.

  • Collaborates cross-functionally with production, quality, and other departments to support efficient operations and problem resolution.

  • Drives continuous improvement initiatives focused on operational efficiency, quality, safety, and compliance with company standards.

Requirements
Technical & Functional:


  • Experience supporting audits, inspections, and regulatory compliance documentation within a manufacturing or regulated environment.

  • Knowledge of quality systems, including investigations, corrective actions, and CAPA processes.

  • Ability to maintain accurate batch documentation and ensure full product traceability.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate operational data and implement corrective actions when needed.

  • High attention to detail with a strong focus on documentation accuracy and compliance.


Leadership & Soft Skills:


  • Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop team members within a production or operational environment.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across departments.

  • Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities while meeting production schedules and deadlines.

  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities in fast-paced operational settings.

  • Highly organized, self-directed, and accountable with a proactive approach to leadership and execution.


Physical Requirements:


  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, and physical movement throughout the workday required.

  • Ability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds and up to 75 pounds with assistance.

  • Ability to push, pull, and move pallets, drums, and production materials safely.

  • Comfortable working in production and warehouse environments with exposure to heat, noise, dust, and other industrial conditions.

  • Visual acuity required for both close-up tasks and distance observation within the operational environment.
