What You'll Be Doing:
The purpose of the Coating Operator/Team Lead is to: 1) Mask, assemble, and coat electronic components, subassemblies, products, or systems per customer specifications; 2) Perform cleaning operations according to manufacturing schedules; 3) Provide guidance to team on production schedules, quality standards and training in the absence of a Production Supervisor; and 4) Follow company policy and procedure to ensure a safe, effective workplace.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Assign tasks and communicate clear instructions to team members.
Monitor progress of work to meet production schedule.
Provide training and ongoing coaching to team members.
Follow work order, production drawing and/or specification, work instruction, and/or verbal instruction.
Prepares and implements masking requirements on all product assemblies and components when applicable.
Prepare and spray coat operations on applicable assemblies.
Performs all procedures regarding coating recipes to specification.
Maintains cleaning operations and cleanliness testing as required by PUI procedures.
Conducts chemical inspections regularly for acceptance.
Prep all assemblies to customer specs. And/or PUI specifications.
Rework / repair defective units to conform to customer and/or PUI specifications.
Enter information on production documentation including records, logs, work orders, time/quantity, and other documentation completely, accurately, and correctly.
