    Production Team Leader Opportunity at Glanbia - day and night shifts available!

    The Opportunity

    As a Production Team Leader, you will lead daily shift operations, support and develop hourly employees, and help drive a safe, quality-focused, zero-loss culture. This role is responsible for meeting production goals, supporting continuous improvement, and ensuring products meet Glanbia's safety, quality, and food safety standards.

    Essential Functions

    • Lead shift production activities to meet safety, quality, output, budget, and continuous improvement goals.
    • Coach, develop, and provide performance feedback to hourly employees while supporting team accountability and engagement.
    • Uphold Glanbia safety, GMP, SOP, FDA, USDA, Idaho state, HACCP, and SQF standards.
    • Schedule and coordinate employees, shifts, production activities, audits, inventory checks, sampling, and daily standard work.
    • Partner with maintenance, logistics, warehouse, and shipping teams to support production flow, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and emergency maintenance decisions.
    • Report on plant performance during daily reviews and staff meetings while demonstrating professionalism in communication and behavior.
    • Serve on committees as needed and perform other duties as assigned.
    • Comply with applicable occupational safety, health, and food safety requirements.

    Minimum Qualifications

    • High school diploma or GED required; three or more years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, diagrams, and schedules.
    • Strong communication, problem-solving, prioritization, delegation, and basic math skills.
    • Intermediate computer skills, including email, databases, word processing, spreadsheets, and graphics.
    • Must complete Glanbia's Team Lead certification program.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree

    • May be exposed to loud noise, humidity, heat, fumes, chemicals, moving mechanical parts, elevated work areas, and electrical shock risks.

    Travel Requirements

    • Minimal travel limited within the local area.

    Where and How You Will Work

    This opportunity is based at our Gooding, Idaho site. Shift options available: 1 day shift opening and 2 night shift openings.
