Job Summary:

Under the direction of the immediate supervisor, produce products to the production schedule while maintaining quality standards. Maintains production records. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare all products of consistent quality following recipe cards and quality standards within acceptable production times
• Collaborate on constant product and process improvement
• Maintain systems of inventory of production supplies
• Prepare customer orders for delivery or shipment
• Check finished products to ensure quality and that industry standards are met before they are declared ready for use
• Maintain cleanliness and organization standards in the production area
• Customer deliveries as needed to local stores
• Perform other duties as assigned, requested, or deemed necessary by management

Essential Job Functions:

• Load materials into production equipment
• Mix substances to create solutions
• Monitor equipment operation to ensure proper functioning
• Count finished products or workpieces
• Weigh finished products
• Mark products, workpieces, or equipment with identifying information
• Package products for storage or shipment
• Notify others of equipment repair or maintenance needs
• Clean work areas

Requirements:

• Must be a self-starter and able to work quickly and efficiently
• Ability to concentrate while doing repetitive tasks
• Ability to follow instructions
• Presents a clean appearance at all times and follows dress code to suit work tasks
• Basic mathematical skills are necessary to understand recipes, measurements, and portion sizes 
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language in order to complete orders, read requirements, and communicate with other employees
• Must be able to sit, stand, bend, squat, reach, and walk 8 to 10 hours a day
• Able to grasp, lift, carry. Must be able to lift 50 lbs
• A flexible schedule is helpful for promotional events on weekends or other days
• The primary work schedule will be set with manager

Preferred:

• Knowledge of aromatherapy, other body care products, and techniques in the natural body care environment are a plus. 
• Interest in organic farming, agriculture, gardening, and fresh food a plus
