Job Summary
RAF Electronics, a part of MW Components is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Production Associate to support daily production operations. In this role, you will operate equipment, process parts through plating and drying operations, perform quality inspections, handle materials, and maintain a clean and safe work environment. This position plays a key role in ensuring products are manufactured accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with quality standards and customer requirements.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Follow work instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and safety guidelines.
- Operate manufacturing equipment, tools, and machinery as assigned.
- Properly load and unload parts into baskets for plating and drying processes.
- Monitor production processes and report issues or concerns to supervisors.
- Perform visual inspections to verify product quality and identify defects.
- Report defects, inconsistencies, equipment issues, or safety concerns promptly.
- Load and unload materials, components, and finished goods.
- Move products between workstations using carts, pallet jacks, and other approved equipment.
- Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy by reporting material usage and shortages.
- Complete production forms, checklists, logs, and related documentation accurately and timely.
- Enter production data into ERP/MES systems as required.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all company safety rules, PPE requirements, and hazard control procedures.
- Participate in safety training and support a zero-injury culture.
- Communicate production status, delays, quality concerns, and equipment issues to team members and supervisors.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic math and measurement skills.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks and stand for extended periods.
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Preferred
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Prior manufacturing, production, assembly, plating, warehouse, or industrial experience.
- Experience operating manufacturing equipment or machinery.
- Basic computer skills and experience with ERP, MES, or production tracking systems.
Physical Requirements
- Frequently stand, walk, bend, reach, push, pull, and perform repetitive motions throughout the shift.
- Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 20 pounds.
- Occasionally lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery, noise, and varying temperatures.
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Must possess adequate vision, including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
