Production Technician

We're currently seeking a TemporaryProduction Technician to support our client's dynamic manufacturing operations just outside Albany, NY. This hands-on role is ideal for individuals with mechanical aptitude, a focus on quality, and the flexibility to adapt to evolving production needs.

Responsibilities of the Production Technician will include:

• Assemble a wide range of components and sub-systems by hand.
• Follow detailed assembly instructions and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Use hand tools and power tools for assembly and validation tasks.
• Operate material handling equipment as needed (training provided).
• Troubleshoot and resolve basic technical issues during assembly.
• Maintain compliance with all safety standards, including OSHA regulations.
• Keep your work area organized and safe.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
• Complete accurate and timely production documentation.

Qualifications of the Production Technician:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational or technical training is a plus.
• At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment is preferred.
• Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Comfortable using both manual and power tools.
• Willingness and ability to work overtime and adapt to a flexible schedule.
• Basic computer skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Reliable team player with clear and professional communication skills.
• Physically able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds without assistance.

Pay for this position is commensurate with experience and education, ranging roughly from $18-$19.75/hr, DOE.
