Production Technician

We're currently seeking a Temporary Production Technician to support our client's dynamic manufacturing operations just outside Albany, NY. This hands-on role is ideal for individuals with mechanical aptitude, a focus on quality, and the flexibility to adapt to evolving production needs.

Responsibilities of the Production Technician will include:*Assemble a wide range of components and sub-systems by hand.
*Follow detailed assembly instructions and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
*Use hand tools and power tools for assembly and validation tasks.
*Operate material handling equipment as needed (training provided).
*Troubleshoot and resolve basic technical issues during assembly.
*Maintain compliance with all safety standards, including OSHA regulations.
*Keep your work area organized and safe.
*Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
*Complete accurate and timely production documentation.


Qualifications of the Production Technician:*High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational or technical training is a plus.
*At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment is preferred.
*Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
*Comfortable using both manual and power tools.
*Willingness and ability to work overtime and adapt to a flexible schedule.
*Basic computer skills.
*Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
*Reliable team player with clear and professional communication skills.
*Physically able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds without assistance.

Pay for this position is commensurate with experience and education, ranging roughly from $18-$19.75/hr, DOE.
