SummaryIn this role, you will design and build antenna prototypes under guidance from engineers. Construct assemblies of final prototypes, assist in the preparation of schematics, designs, and specifications. Design and build test fixtures, troubleshoot, and test electrical circuits, conduct tests, record data, and summarize results. Provide input for design reviews, proposals, and specifications. Develop build procedures, processes, and training to help transition newly developed designs into production.Key ResponsibilitiesStudy work instructions, drawings, travelers, test procedures, and parts lists to gather required parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials and prepare for assembly workPosition and align parts and subassemblies using templates, fixtures, and test measurement equipmentAssemble components by soldering, inspecting parts and assemblies for proper fit, and fastening parts and subassemblies according to specificationsIdentify and help resolve assembly issues and notify the Quality Assurance team of known or recurring problemsFollow established procedures, rules, and regulations to maintain a safe, organized, and clean work environmentAnticipate material needed and submit requests for additional build kits and supplies to Inventory as neededUpdate and maintain build documentation, work instructions, and production records using Microsoft Office Suite applications, including Word, Excel, and OutlookComplete production travelers and rework documentation as requiredContribute to overall team success by performing related duties and supporting production objectives as assignedQualificationsRequired Education and ExperienceMust have U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a U.S. Security ClearanceHigh school diploma or FEDValid Colorado driver's license1 year of manufacturing experienceExperience using inspection and power toolsPossess a strong focus on safety compliance, quality, and accuracyProficiency in Microsoft OfficeGood judgement and decision-makingAbility to learn and complete training quicklyPreferred Education And ExperienceJ-STD-001 Solder CertificationKnowledge in Standard Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) practicesOther DutiesPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
