What You'll Do
- Operate, monitor, troubleshoot, and perform changeovers on automated production equipment to support daily production goals.
- Perform quality inspections, complete production documentation, and ensure products meet safety and quality standards.
- Assist with preventative maintenance activities while identifying and resolving equipment issues to minimize downtime.
- Follow all GMP, food safety, safety, and standard operating procedures while maintaining a clean and organized work area.
- Provide day-to-day guidance and support to temporary team members while promoting a safe and productive work environment.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Required
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing or production experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot manufacturing equipment and accurately complete production documentation.
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime as business needs require.
Preferred
- Experience operating automated production, bottling, packaging, filling, or case packing equipment.
- Experience in food, beverage, consumer packaged goods (CPG), or alcohol beverage manufacturing.
- Technical school, apprenticeship, or Associate degree in manufacturing, industrial maintenance, or a related field is a plus.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, walk, bend, kneel, reach, and climb throughout a 12-hour shift.
- Ability to safely work around moving mechanical equipment in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, humidity, and varying production conditions.
- Regular, reliable on-site attendance and overtime as needed to support production schedules.
