$18–$19/hour | 12-Hour Rotating Shifts (2-2-3) | 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM | Weekly pay every Friday | OT available on rotating schedule | Earn for example ~$990–$1,045/week gross at 50hrs with OT
Position Overview This role performs repetitive mechanical assembly of gas meters, requiring precise dexterous movements to maintain production pace and quality standards. The technician follows detailed assembly instructions and works with hand and power tools in a manufacturing environment. Documentation and adherence to safety and quality protocols are essential to the role.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble and/or test mechanical and electrical components using hand/power tools, jigs, and fixtures
- Follow assembly instructions including color coding, PVC thermal welding, and thread taping
- Enter work hours and complete required production documentation in SAP
- Conduct daily housekeeping and 5S audits to support continuous improvement
- Read and interpret simple layout and assembly drawings
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude through work experience, coursework, or related hobbies
- 3–5 years of assembly or manufacturing experience
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately
- Comfortable working rotating 12-hour shifts
