Description
As a Production Technician Associate, you will be responsible for assembling trailer components and sub-assemblies while performing quality inspections to ensure products meet required standards. This role also involves operating material handling equipment, including an electric pallet jack, tugger, and stand-up forklift.
Shifts:
Monday – Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
$25.25/hr (schedule may vary; overtime and weekends as needed)
Monday – Friday, 3:00 p.m. – 12:00 a.m.
$27.25/hr (schedule may vary; overtime and weekends as needed)
What you’ll do on a typical day:
Identify and perform repetitive assembly of various trailer component parts using blueprints or work instructions
Safely utilize measuring and inspection instruments
Use power and hand tools in a safe manner
Work with materials such as steel, sheet metal, aluminum, solvents, oils, and abrasives
Recommend improvements to production methods, equipment performance, and quality standards
Organize parts and equipment to maximize efficiency within the department
At a minimum, you’ll need:
Strong technical skills and assembly experience
Ability to read, understand, and follow job orders and procedures
Experience working in a manufacturing environment
Ability to operate an electric pallet jack and stand-up forklift
