Production Technician
Hiring now! We are seeking a detail-oriented Production Technician to join our manufacturing team in Hayward, CA. In this role, you will perform precision cleaning, chemical processing, bead blasting, and quality inspections on high-value components while following strict safety and quality standards. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with manufacturing or production experience who enjoy working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
Pay: $26-$34 Shift: 2nd Shift Schedule: Must be available to work rotating shifts from 5am-1:30pm or 2pm-10:30pm for training. Key Responsibilities
Process precision parts through chemical cleaning, rinsing, and passivation processes.
Prepare parts using production baskets, hooks, and hoists to prevent damage during handling.
Operate and monitor chemical immersion tanks using specialized detergents and chemicals.
Perform high-pressure washing to remove machining oils and contaminants.
Safely operate overhead hoists and move large or heavy parts.
Hand-clean delicate, high-precision components with extreme care to prevent scratches or damage.
Use high-pressure nitrogen (N?) and clean dry air (CDA) guns to dry components in a particle-controlled environment.
Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and quality standards.
Wear appropriate PPE and safely handle hazardous chemicals.
Perform bead blasting to clean, deburr, and create uniform surface finishes on metal components.
Inspect parts before and after processing to ensure quality and prevent contamination, damage, or loss.
Sort components by material type before processing to prevent cross-contamination.
Identify and remove heavy oils and cutting fluids prior to chemical processing.
Perform water-break-free testing to verify surface cleanliness.
Maintain accurate production records and process documentation.
Communicate non-conformance issues by preparing clear, professional reports and emails to supervisors.
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience in manufacturing, production, precision cleaning, or chemical handling.
Basic computer proficiency, including typing and standard business software.
Ability to write clear, professional workplace emails.
