Production Technician

What is the role about?

This position is responsible for facilitating the production of Endress+Hauser Gas Measurement products, with a focus on applying a mechanical aptitude and hands-on problem-solving to enhance product performance. A Production Technician will collaborate with a multi-national, cross-functional team to create and test innovative product offerings while optimizing the performance of existing production lines.

Which tasks will you perform?

• Assemble electronic equipment per work instructions using basic hand tools
• Install ball valves and measurement probes on industrial piping per mechanical drawings
• Program electronic equipment to customer requirements and E+H specifications
• Test equipment to verify calibration and confirm requirements are within tolerance levels
• Inspect incoming parts for order accuracy and standards compliance
• Partner with design engineer to understand assembly requirements
• Participate in peer and stakeholder reviews
• Use SAP to review and execute work orders; verify BOM (Bill of Materials); issue and receive materials; ensure proper traceability of equipment serial numbers; and confirm production and quality documentation to meet project requirements

• Experience in a technical field (mechanical assembly) using basic hand tools (drills, saws, etc.)
• Strong understanding of mechanical drawings

• Experience utilizing SAP and strong computer proficiency
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of presenting information clearly, articulating complex technical issues and engaging with individuals at all levels

• Capacity to adapt to working on a variety of production-related tasks and remain flexible to meet changing requirements of production department
