Position – Production Technician II

Location: Pottstown, PA

We are currently seeking experienced Production Technician II candidates to support aerospace and defense manufacturing operations in Pottstown, PA. This role is ideal for hands-on technicians with electronics or electro-mechanical assembly and testing experience in a manufacturing or production environment.

Summary

The Production Technician II supports the assembly, integration, and testing of aerospace and defense products and electro-mechanical systems. This position requires hands-on manufacturing experience, strong mechanical aptitude, soldering skills, and the ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical work instructions while maintaining high quality and safety standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform mechanical, electrical, and electro-mechanical assembly of components and systems
  • Assemble and test production hardware in accordance with approved work instructions and technical documentation
  • Perform soldering and basic electrical assembly activities
  • Use hand and power tools including crimpers, drills, taps, torque tools, and pneumatic tools
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, drawings, and technical work instructions
  • Perform basic troubleshooting and identify assembly or production discrepancies
  • Inspect completed assemblies to ensure compliance with quality and production standards
  • Support testing and verification of assembled components and systems
  • Accurately complete production documentation and work records
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and organized condition
  • Follow company safety, quality, and manufacturing procedures
  • Support production schedules and operational requirements
  • Other duties as assigned

Summary of Education, Experience & Certification

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum 1–2 years of manufacturing or production experience required
  • Electronics or electro-mechanical assembly and testing experience required
  • Soldering experience required
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics required
  • Experience using hand and power tools required
  • U.S. Citizenship required due to ITAR requirements

No active security clearance required.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Hands-on experience in a manufacturing or production environment
  • Experience performing electronics or electro-mechanical assembly
  • Ability to perform soldering and electrical assembly tasks
