Production Technician
The Production Technician manufactures, assembles, and packages BioProcess Containers in a controlled cleanroom environment while following Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP). The role involves working from detailed instructions, Standard Operating Procedures, work documents, and technical drawings to ensure consistent product quality. You will thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting that requires strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Manufacture, assemble, and package BioProcess Containers in accordance with Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
- Follow detailed Standard Operating Procedures, work instructions, and technical drawings to complete production tasks accurately and consistently.
- Perform cleanroom production activities such as general production, assembly, assembly line work, and packaging.
- Handle materials and components in a controlled cleanroom environment, maintaining cleanliness and compliance at all times.
- Use basic computer systems to complete required training modules and document production activities as needed.
- Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and cleanroom protocols, including proper gowning and hygiene requirements.
- Operate hand tools and equipment safely and effectively during manufacturing and assembly processes.
- Perform frequent gripping, grasping, pushing, pulling, and other repetitive motions required for production tasks.
- Maintain a high level of attention to detail to identify and escalate issues that could impact product quality or safety.
- Collaborate with team members in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment to meet production goals and timelines.
- Follow chemical hygiene and safety procedures when working with disinfectants, solvents, and IPA.
- Support general warehouse-style tasks related to production, such as handling materials, staging components, and preparing items for packaging and shipment.
Essential Skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Basic computer skills to complete training modules and perform simple data entry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot issues in the production process.
- Good verbal and written communication skills to understand instructions and document activities.
- Ability to follow detailed procedures, Standard Operating Procedures, and technical drawings accurately.
- Commitment to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and working in a regulated environment.
- Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced setting.
- Ability to stand, bend, reach, and move throughout the shift in a production environment.
- Capability to occasionally lift and handle up to 40 lbs unassisted.
- Comfort working in a cleanroom environment with strict gowning and hygiene requirements.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- 1 year of production experience is preferred but not required.
- Experience in production, assembly, warehouse work, or order picking is beneficial.
- Experience working in a cleanroom or controlled environment is a plus.
- Familiarity with general production, assembly line operations, and packaging processes.
- Ability to use hand tools and production equipment safely and effectively.
- Understanding of chemical hygiene practices when working with disinfectants, solvents, and IPA.
- Experience in data entry or basic warehouse systems is an advantage.

Work Environment
This role is based in a fast-paced, controlled cleanroom environment where you may work up to 10 hours per day with possible overtime. The cleanroom maintains more than 30% humidity, a temperature range of approximately 6070F, and ambient noise typical of a production facility. You will work on production and assembly lines, perform general production tasks, and handle packaging activities. The position requires frequent forceful gripping, grasping, pushing, pulling, and repetitive motion, as well as standing, bending, reaching, and moving throughout the shift. You will use hand tools, equipment, and personal protective equipment, including gloves, hair or beard nets, face covers, safety glasses, and other cleanroom gowning. No makeup or jewelry is permitted in the cleanroom to maintain strict cleanliness standards. You must follow chemical hygiene practices when working with disinfectants, solvents, and IPA, and you may occasionally lift and handle up to 40 lbs unassisted.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.28 - $21.28/hr.
