Job Store Staffing is currently hiring Production Technicians for a growing aluminum extrusion and manufacturing facility in Colorado Springs. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to start or grow a career in manufacturing and production.
No previous manufacturing experience is required. We are seeking dependable, hardworking candidates who are eager to learn, work with machines, and contribute to a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Location: Colorado Springs, CO 80915
Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Pay Rate: $15.35 per hour
Job Responsibilities
- Assist with daily manufacturing and production operations
- Load, unload, and move materials throughout the facility
- Operate production equipment and machinery while following safety guidelines
- Perform assembly, packaging, deburring, finishing, and material handling tasks
- Inspect products to ensure quality standards and customer specifications are met
- Read and follow blueprints, sketches, drawings, work instructions, and specifications
- Accurately measure and verify parts using calipers and other measuring devices
- Communicate with team members regarding equipment issues, quality concerns, and production needs
- Learn and operate various types of manufacturing equipment
- Assist with packaging and shipping functions as needed
- Support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing efforts
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards
- Assist other departments as needed to meet production goals
- Be flexible and willing to work in different production areas as assigned
Qualifications
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Basic math, measurement, and computer skills
- Willingness to learn new equipment and processes
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
Preferred Skills
- Previous experience in manufacturing, warehouse, assembly, production, packaging, shipping, or general labor
- Experience using hand tools and measuring equipment such as calipers
- Forklift experience is a plus but not required
- Understanding of lean manufacturing principles is helpful but not required
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for up to 10-hour shifts
- Frequent bending, reaching, lifting, and carrying
- Ability to lift 30–50 pounds regularly
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift
