Our client, a prominent player in the manufacturing sector, is seeking a dependable professional for a temporary-to-permanent role. This position requires at least one year of experience in a manufacturing environment and a high school diploma or equivalent.
Key Responsibilities:
- Mix raw materials according to specified formulas and diligently track inventory in the system, alerting team members about any discrepancies or equipment malfunctions.
- Ensure thorough sanitation of all blending equipment to maintain quality standards.
- Handle film rolls efficiently, including detaching from the winder, labeling, packaging, and providing assistance in preparing shipments.
- Accurately input production data into the company's database.
- Support the setup and transitions in the blown-film production line.
- Aid in the cleaning and assembling of critical components such as dies and air rings.
- Conduct and document preventive maintenance as per the schedule.
- Perform in-process inspections using visual checks or measurement tools and collaborate with the team to address any defects.
- Foster a communicative and cooperative work environment with fellow employees and leaders.
- Uphold a tidy, organized, and hazard-free workplace.
- Operate all production machinery, inspection tools, and material handling equipment with safety as a priority, reporting any issues promptly.
Qualifications:
- Completion of high school or equivalent education is mandatory.
- Proficiency in English communication is required.
- Capability to frequently maneuver up to 20 pounds and occasionally handle up to 60 pounds is essential.
