We are seeking a Production Technician - Packaging for second shift in Indianapolis, IN.
Responsibilities include interpreting manufacturing instructions, supporting safety initiatives, following detailed work instructions, and performing batch chemistry calculations. You will operate and maintain large-scale powder production equipment, including automated packaging machines, blenders, and forklifts, while ensuring safety and quality compliance. Minor to moderate machine adjustments and mechanical repairs are also required.
Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, strong math and reading skills, experience with plant equipment and industrial vehicles, and physical ability to perform tasks involving lifting and movement. Proficiency in computer software, safety gear usage, and mechanical aptitude are essential. Experience levels vary from entry (0-5 years) to experienced (5+ years).
