Production Technician

Position Summary

TreadStone Technologies is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Production Technician to join our manufacturing team.

The Production Technician will perform hands-on manufacturing and production activities supporting TreadStone's proprietary metal coating processes. This position is ideal for someone with previous production or manufacturing experience who enjoys working with equipment, following established processes, maintaining accurate records, and producing consistent, high-quality work.

The successful candidate will be comfortable working in a hands-on industrial environment and able to learn manufacturing processes from start to finish.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on manufacturing and processing of metal components using established production procedures
• Follow work instructions, batch records, specifications, and safety procedures
• Operate and monitor production equipment
• Prepare materials and components for manufacturing processes
• Maintain accurate batch records, production logs, and electronic records
• Inspect materials and finished components for quality and consistency
• Identify and document problems involving products, equipment, processes, or quality
• Assist with equipment setup, routine maintenance, and calibration
• Maintain inventory of raw materials, production supplies, and consumables
• Support material movement and inventory activities throughout the facility
• Clean and maintain production equipment and manufacturing work areas
• Monitor process and environmental conditions as required
• Assist with continuous improvement of manufacturing processes and procedures
• Follow company quality, safety, and documentation requirements
• Work collaboratively with production, engineering, and quality personnel

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or technical training is a plus
• At least 1 year of manufacturing, production, assembly, fabrication, or related hands-on experience preferred
• Ability to follow detailed written procedures and work instructions
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new equipment and processes
• Basic computer skills
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Dependable work history and strong attendance
• Ability to adapt to changing production priorities and schedules
• Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds

Preferred Experience

• Metal fabrication, coating, plating, finishing, machining, chemical processing, or similar manufacturing experience
• Experience working from batch records or controlled manufacturing documentation
• Experience with quality systems or regulated manufacturing processes
• Experience using measuring, testing, or production equipment
• Familiarity with inventory and ERP systems
