About Your Role The Production Technician is responsible for safe and efficient operation of production equipment and processes. This role executes day-to-day production tasks while maintaining compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards. Duties and Responsibilities Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Assist with other duties as assigned. Execute core production operations by safely handling material movement, including loading, unloading, packaging, and supporting blending processes to ensure product is produced and shipped efficiently.Maintain quality and accuracy standards by performing basic quality checks, monitoring material usage, and ensuring finished products meet established specifications. Support plant operations and equipment readiness through routine inspections, cleaning, and basic maintenance assistance to keep equipment operating effectively. Follow and reinforce safety practices by adhering to all company policies, OSHA standards, and safe operating procedures in daily tasks. Communicate operational needs and issues by sharing information on material levels, equipment concerns, and production status with leadership and support teams. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Basic mechanical aptitude and general computer skills for emailAbility to follow instructions and procedures Strong attention to safetyValid Drivers License and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record MVR. Working Conditions The work environment is the typical plant environment. The employee must complete their work satisfactorily in an environment where there are significant distractions, including staff, clients, and vendors walking through and conversing, telephones ringing, conversations carrying over, loud noises, and interruptions to answer questions from others. This position may be exposed to chemicals, extreme weather conditions such as heat, cold, and wind.
