Production Technician's Needed

Our client, a fragrance manufacturer located in East Stroudsburg, is currently seeking 2nd and 3rd shift Production Technicians.

 Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour plus differential
 Shifts: 2nd & 3rd Shift (Available shifts to be announced)

IMPORTANT REQUIREMENT: Candidates MUST have longevity in their work history to be considered.

Job Summary:

Manufactures and packages products through reaction/distillation and compounding activities. Must follow detailed procedures to meet specified production and quality standards

Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below represent the knowledge, skill, and ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.

Education/Experience:

• High school diploma or GED required
• 1–2 years of related manufacturing experience and/or training preferred

Language Skills:

• Ability to read and interpret documents in English, including safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
• Ability to communicate effectively

Math Skills:

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure
• Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and interpret graphs

Reasoning Ability:

• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions in written, oral, or diagram form
• Ability to solve problems involving multiple variables in standardized situations

Computer Skills:

• Basic computer skills required
• Ability to learn company inventory and manufacturing systems

Pre-Screening Requirements:

• Background check required
• Drug screening required
