Shift: 4th Shift | Friday Sunday, 6:00 AM 6:00 PM
(36 hours/week + additional hours as needed to reach 40)
Position SummaryWe are seeking a Production Technician to support manufacturing operations in a cleanroom environment. The ideal candidate will have prior cleanroom experience and be comfortable following strict quality, safety, and contamination-control procedures.
The Production Technician will be responsible for manufacturing products, supporting production activities, assisting with equipment installation and qualification, performing equipment maintenance activities, building prototypes, and providing support across various manufacturing functions as needed.
Key Responsibilities- Manufacture products according to established procedures and quality standards.
- Support daily production activities and resolve basic production issues.
- Assist with installation, setup, and qualification of production equipment.
- Support equipment maintenance and troubleshooting activities.
- Build prototypes and assist with process improvement activities.
- Follow cleanroom procedures and maintain compliance with all manufacturing requirements.
- Take direction from the Manufacturing Supervisor or designated leadership team members.
Required Qualifications- Previous cleanroom or regulated manufacturing experience preferred.
- Ability to work a 12-hour shift schedule (Friday Sunday, 6:00 AM 6:00 PM).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written procedures.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented manufacturing environment.
- Willingness to comply with strict cleanroom requirements and gowning procedures.
Cleanroom RequirementsEmployees working in manufacturing areas must follow strict contamination-control guidelines, including:
- No makeup, cosmetics, lip balm, perfume, cologne, scented lotions, sprays, nail polish, artificial nails, or unauthorized topical products on exposed skin.
- No dangling jewelry outside the enclosed smock, including bracelets or necklaces. Earrings extending beyond the earlobe must be covered by appropriate hair coverings.
- Bare legs must be covered at all times in manufacturing areas.
- Personal grooming is not permitted in manufacturing areas.
- Open-toed shoes are not allowed. Socks, stockings, tights, or similar foot coverings must be worn.
- Long-fiber sweaters are not permitted.
- Caps or hats with brims/visors cannot be worn under hair bonnets or hoods. Hair bands, scarves, or clips used to secure hair under coverings are allowed.
- Personal cell phones and electronic devices are not permitted in manufacturing areas and must be stored in a locker or personal vehicle.
