Production Technician

As a Production Technician / Production Operator, you’ll work with composite materials, molds, tooling, and production equipment to help create high-quality products through established manufacturing processes. This role is a great fit for someone with experience in manufacturing, assembly, automotive, construction, fabrication, warehouse, or general labor who enjoys learning new skills and working as part of a team.

• Prepare, clean, and set up molds and tooling based on work instructions and production requirements.
• Mix, handle, and cast composite materials such as resins and fiberglass.
• Assemble and disassemble molds, fixtures, and tooling using hand and power tools.
• Move parts and molds through production processes, including loading and unloading industrial ovens.
• Operate manufacturing equipment and support daily production activities.
• Follow safety procedures, quality standards, SOPs, and production documentation.
• Read basic blueprints and work instructions to ensure accurate production.
• Complete batch records, work orders, and other required documentation.
• Inspect parts and assist with quality checks when needed.
• Safely use material-handling equipment such as hoists, cranes, or forklifts when qualified.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and communicate any equipment or process issues.
• Work closely with production, quality, engineering, and manufacturing teams to meet goals.

• Hands-on manufacturing, production, assembly, fabrication, or industrial experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical skills and comfort using hand and power tools.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and complete accurate documentation.
• Experience working with tools, equipment, and production processes.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift materials and tools, and work in warm areas near curing ovens.
• Strong reliability, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Experience in any of the following is a plus:

• Composite or fiberglass manufacturing.
• Resin handling and mold production.
• Construction, carpentry, automotive, or industrial maintenance.
• Machine operation, fabrication, or mechanical assembly.
• Quality inspection and working to defined specifications.
• ERP or production tracking systems.
• Forklift, hoist, or crane operation.

This is an active manufacturing environment where you’ll work with composite materials, molds, industrial ovens, and production equipment. The role involves hands-on assembly, material handling, tool use, and following detailed production processes.

You’ll work both independently and alongside a team of production leads, supervisors, engineers, and quality personnel in a collaborative environment focused on safety, quality, and getting the job done right.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Stoughton, MA.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
