Kratos has an exciting opportunity in Colorado Springs, CO for a Production Test Technician. Job responsibilities include testing many different types of printed circuit assemblies (PCAs), Modules (mother/daughter board configurations) and Chassis according to published and controlled test procedures (TP) and assembly drawings. Other responsibilities include diagnosis and repair of test failures, support of new and updated TPs, and support of testing new product development.
Must be able to interpret electrical design schematics and support troubleshooting efforts under very general supervision. Will interface frequently with other Test Technicians, and Assemblers and will work across functional areas such as Engineering, Quality Assurance, Production Leads, and Project Managers. Will work collaboratively and iteratively with departments at other Kratos locations if and as required, refining requirements to ensure that testing supports the deliverable intent even when not explicitly stated in requirements. Provides solutions to a variety of technical problems of moderate scope and complexity. Understanding and ability to troubleshoot RF/electrical/electronic systems using technical standards, principles, theories, concepts, and techniques. Familiarity with computerized data acquisition and automated test control systems and instrumentation.
Temporary Assignment with the Potential for Regular Full-Time Employment
Required Experience:
Experience with testing, troubleshooting, and repairing Printed Circuit Board Assemblies (PCBAs)
Experience with: Automated Test Scripts, Python, Test Stand and/or LabView SW
Experience and functional understanding of: Electronic Test Equipment (VOM, Scopes, Sig Gens, Spec An's, Power Meters, etc…), reading and interpreting schematics, IPC-Certified Soldering
Experience with Microsoft Office
Preferred Skills and Experience
Experience with RF Testing
Knowledge and experience with advanced PCBA rework techniques
Experience with any Manufacturing Execution System (MES) – Preferably Epicor
IPC Certified

The grade-based pay range for this job is listed below. Individual salaries within that range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, and skills.
