Production Test Technician

Job Title: Production Test Technician
Location: El Segundo, CA
Duration: 06 Months

Hours: The shift is 6AM to 2:30PM with some overtime and weekends.

Job Responsibilities

Production Test Technicians are responsible for testing and validating the performance of manufactured Skids, Cartridges, oil reservoirs, and electrical control boxes. The team is also responsible for capturing pertinent data for the engineering and production team before a finished product is commissioned to our clients.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Testing the products for safety, capacities, compliance, and performance.
• Examining and investigating specific aspects and components of products in question.
• Compiling data needed for the Project and engineering teams as well as testing all products under the guidance of the Quality team.
• Maintaining hydrotest log such as Safe Work Permits, if working in hydrotest.
• Maintaining the area with good housekeeping and 5S.
• Maintaining all tooling in good working conditions.

Education and Experience

• Associate’s degree in an engineering or scientific field preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• HAZWOPER or other OSHA certifications are a strong plus.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Good communication skills.
• Physical fitness and strength to lift and operate heavy electrical machinery.
• Mechanics oriented.
• High pressure/High Voltage experience is a plus.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination.
• Basic computer skills such as emailing and form filling.
• Forklift experience.
