Production Test Technician

We're looking for a detail-oriented Production Test Technician to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you'll perform functional testing, troubleshoot and repair products, and ensure all assemblies meet quality and performance standards before shipment. You'll use test equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and automated test systems to diagnose issues, document results, and work closely with engineering and production teams to resolve defects. The ideal candidate has troubleshooting skills, can interpret schematics and technical documentation, and thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. salary: $16 - $24 per hour

work hours: 5 AM - 3:30 PM

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical, mechanical, or functional testing on products and assemblies.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose product failures using test equipment and engineering documentation.
• Repair defective components, interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and work instructions.
• Operate test equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, and automated test systems.
• Document test results, repairs, and production data accurately.
• Identify recurring production issues and communicate findings to engineering and manufacturing teams.
• Assist with root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and company procedures.
• Maintain test equipment and ensure calibration requirements are met.
