Production Test Technician

Position Overview

Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking a dedicated Production Test Technician to join their client's team in Irvine, California. This role involves working in a dynamic production environment, where the technician will play a crucial part in the assembly, integration, and testing of computer-based test systems. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of electronic circuits, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Perform assembly and integration of computer-based test systems in a production area.
• Test and troubleshoot circuit boards, addressing item discrepancies and managing "Rush" requests and daily expedites.
• Handle calls related to product shipment and receipt information.
• Assist with other projects as assigned, ensuring smooth operation within the production environment.

Qualifications

• AA or BSEE or equivalent education.
• Knowledge of both analog and digital electronic circuit theory.
• Over 1 year of experience in testing and repairing complex circuit boards at the component level, including using test equipment like oscilloscopes, digital meters, and power supplies.
• Familiarity with Windows, BOMs, and schematics.
• Experience working in an ESD-controlled environment.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Capability to multitask in a fast-paced production environment and handle stressful situations.
• Flexibility to work in a team environment.

Required Work Hours

Monday through Friday, 1st shift.

Benefits

The position offers a competitive pay range of $28 to $34 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
