Title: Production Trainer
Location: Minnetonka, MN
Hours: 3:30 PM - 2:00 AM | Pay: 27/hr

Summary


Responsible for the coordination, implementation, and execution of training systems, including developing and innovating training programs to support manufacturing and peripheral groups. Coordinates the ongoing and recurring system training of manufacturing training assistants. Implements and maintains training system controls for manufacturing.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement training systems by identifying basic training needs, researching training options, and recommending the most effective methods.
  • Maintain and enhance quality systems by identifying, isolating, and resolving problems with existing processes, using customer feedback and automated systems.
  • Communicate certification and training needs by reporting manufacturing personnel training and knowledge gaps.
  • Recommend solutions to close training and knowledge gaps.
  • Introduce training system upgrades by identifying and implementing more efficient technology and methods to facilitate training across the company.
  • Work on and support global initiatives and efforts.
  • Support business processes outside of manufacturing by promoting consistency between systems and offering innovative solutions to process issues.
  • Troubleshoot automated systems by identifying and researching problems, making system changes, or contacting the appropriate group to initiate changes.
  • Plan and organize project assignments of substantial variety and complexity.
  • Initiate and maintain project schedules and milestones.
  • Establish priorities for project assignments.
  • Solve complex problems requiring extensive interpretation of procedures and practices to provide leadership in evolving projects.
  • Select methods and practices to solve problems using ingenuity, creativity, and a high degree of independent action and initiative.
  • Propose solutions independently and make project-related decisions.
  • Develop and implement projects from concept to completion.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 6 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of business concepts, procedures, and practices, with a complete understanding of fundamentals in a functional area and working knowledge of related disciplines.
  • Ability to utilize and interpret advanced data to prepare documentation, conduct analysis, and resolve complex problems. Work is performed in a quality system environment where failure to adequately perform tasks may result in noncompliance with governmental regulations.
  • Ability to perform extremely complex or specialized assignments, often project-based, with minimal supervision.
  • May design, develop, or modify area-specific processes or procedures.
  • Demonstrated judgment, initiative, creativity in troubleshooting, and the ability to recommend continuous quality improvements for functional areas.
