Production Trainer

We are seeking an experienced Production Trainer to support manufacturing operations through the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of training systems and programs. This role is responsible for coordinating training activities, identifying skill gaps, maintaining training compliance, and driving process improvements within a regulated manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, and maintain manufacturing training systems and programs.
  • Identify training needs and recommend effective learning solutions.
  • Coordinate ongoing and recurring training for manufacturing personnel and training assistants.
  • Monitor certification requirements and identify knowledge gaps.
  • Recommend and implement solutions to improve workforce training effectiveness.
  • Support training system upgrades and process improvements.
  • Troubleshoot automated training systems and coordinate necessary changes.
  • Plan, organize, and manage multiple projects and project milestones.
  • Analyze training and operational data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
  • Support quality system compliance and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and global stakeholders to drive consistency and best practices.
Required Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 6 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong background in manufacturing training, learning systems, quality systems, or process improvement.
  • Experience working in a regulated manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and provide recommendations.
  • Strong project management, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience developing and administering training programs in manufacturing environments.
  • Knowledge of quality systems and compliance requirements.
  • Experience supporting automated training or learning management systems (LMS).
  • Continuous improvement and process optimization experience.
  • Medical device or highly regulated industry experience is highly preferred.
